Limited edition of 50 hand-numbered copies, this copy produced hors commerce. The report delivered during the third meeting of the Corine Society, a society “founded early in the last century to honour the memory of Frederick Rolfe Baron Corvo, to recommend his writings, and to explain away his life.” An eccentric English writer, photographer, and Catholic priest manqué, Corvo has remained an obscure figure in the history of modernist literature; his work received a wider audience through the A.J.A. Symon’s seminal biography, The Quest for Corvo.

A tongue-in-cheek report, the speaker Roert Scoble, notes, “Ours is an exclusive club, which wields quite disproportionate power in this country and in several others, partly because of the stratospheric eminence of its Members but principally because of its immense wealth. Of course, we exhibit no trace of vulgarity about this.”.
