Event program for a series of collaborative performances at the 69th Regiment Armory by artists and Bell Laboratories engineers marking the first major collaboration between artists and technologists.

Spearheaded by Bell Labs electrical engineer Billy Klüver, the nine evenings presented works by ten avant-garde artists—Steve Paxton, Alex Hay, Deborah Hay, Robert Rauschenberg, David Tudor, Yvonne Rainer, John Cage, Lucinda Childs, Robert Whitman, and Öyvind Fahlström—realized in collaboration with a team of Bell Labs engineers.

This event was a turning point in postwar art, as it showcased for the first time the artistic possibilities of new technologies. The success of this project led to the development of Experiments in Art and Technology (E.A.T.), a non-profit founded by Klüver and fellow engineer Fred Waldhauer along with artists Robert Rauschenberg and Robert Whitman to promote collaborations between artists, scientists, and engineers.
