Cheiro, born William John Warner, was a clairvoyant, astrologer, palm reader, and practitioner of Chaldean numerology. A celebrated figure, he published several well-known books on these topics—and told the fortunes of many notable figures of his time, including Mark Twain, Oscar Wilde, Thomas Edison, Sarah Bernhardt, and the Prince of Wales. He derived his sobriquet from the word cheiromancy (palmistry). The present volume comprises his attested tales of supernatural experiences.
