Two large, attractive illustrations by C.E. Brock. A widely published painter and illustrator, Brock was a well-known and successful artist, who contributed numerous illustrations to books and magazines, such as The Quiver, The Strand, and Pearsons. He is perhaps best known for the illustrations he contributed to works by Jonathan Swift, Jane Austen, and Charles Dickens, to name only three.
