A handsomely produced work, made in collaboration between Bardo Matrix and Ian Alsop’s Kali Press. The work contains an introduction by Angus MacLise, who writes, “… Poems of metaphysical karate, [p]oems of tender lyricism bending with rivers, [s]trange movements from image to thought and fusing of the thought with the images. Visionary flashes at the peak, the heart strains to say it knows, it knows!” In addition to the illustrations, the work contains two facsimiles of poems in the poet’s hand.
Very rare in red cloth. The work was issued in an edition of 500 numbered copies, signed by the poet, the bulk of which in black cloth. The present copy is unsigned and out of series, with “less” in manuscript in red ink on the limitation statement.
