Flyer promoting a “Womens Lib” concert and disco at Hunter College, featuring disc-jockeys Numero Uno and Infinity Machine, alongside Gemini Record’s recording artist Total Eclipse. Infinity Machine was an early hip hop DJ group from Queens, whose members included DJ Divine, DJ Kendu, Wildcat, and others. They toured with and provided sound systems for Afrika Bambaataa, Super Rhymes, Grandmaster Flash, Kurtis Blow, Love Bug Starski, and Hollywood. Their appearance makes for a rare convergence of the emergent hip hop movement and women’s liberation.

The “Women’s Lib” theme provided attendees with guidelines to enhance the party's vibe. The flyer asks “LADIES: are you tired of being hounded by packs of men at discos? or sitting around all night waiting for an attractive guy to dance with!”; and “MEN: are you fed up with women who come to pose and not party, or are you too shy, afraid of being rejected. well lay back and; LET THE WOMEN DO THE ASKING.”.
