Poster of Che Guevara published to commemorate and mourn the comandante’s death in Bolivia in October 1967, designed by Alberto Perez Ñiko, a notable practitioner of the new Cuban poster art. It was, in fact, the first official Cuban poster to be produced after Guevara’s death, and it was later reprinted by “Cor Nac'' in La Habana in 1969.
A striking example of Cuban poster art, its commitment to moral depth, artistic excellence, and the spread of collective mourning following the death of the great revolutionary.
