Flyer advertising the change in ownership of the Jackson, Mississippi venue Silver Spur, recently bought by singer BJ Thomas, most well-known for his recordings of “Hooked on a Feeling” and “Raindrops Keep Falling on my Head”, the latter featured in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. Under his ownership the venue changed its name to BJ’s, and boasts two dance floors, with continuous music nightly from 9 pm to 3 am, featuring performances by The Spyres, The Empacs, and The Mistics.
