Postcard sent to Angela Davis during her detention as a political prisoner. The text reads, “Dear Angela! We warmly congratulate you on your 27th birthday and wish you all the best. Especially in these difficult days, we admire your hard work and your steadfastness, and are firmly convinced that your fight for the just cause will be victorious.”

Addressed to Davis at the Marin County Courthouse, this solidarity postcard illustrates the international character of both the Free Angela movement and the broader Left in the late-1960s and early-1970s.
