Scarce playbill in fine condition for I & I by Jewish German poet and playwright Else Lasker-Schuler directed by Judith Malina, performed by The Living Theatre. The center of the playbill cover design is a drawing of the ancient Greek prophet, Orpheus, by Jean Cocteau which has been used as a signet for The Living Theatre since 1952. Includes a new foreword by Judith Malina and graphic advertisements of local New York City institutions.
