Care 3 was a mail art magazine edited by Bart Bouman and the art students of the Academy of Arts in Enschede, Holland. It was published in editions of 75 for the first three publications, after which they encouraged their correspondents to publish future issues themselves.
Care 3 consisted of loose leaves of 8 ½ x 11 in. paper, each by a different artist. Most likely published sometime in 1982, it showcases a wide range of artists involved in the international mail-art network at that time including Kum Nam Baik, Jean Louis Houchard, happy people enterprises, Picasso Gaglione (also known by the moniker DADALAND), and many other known and unknown artists. With handmade collages, screenprints, objects, drawings, photocopies, fold-outs, and other hard-to-classify pieces on various different sized and colored papers.
