Coke en Stock (“The Red Sea Sharks”) is the nineteenth of twenty-four titles in the beloved Adventures of Tintin series. After originally being published serially in Belgium’s Tintin magazine, Casterman published a collected volume in 1958. Hergé was criticised for what were deemed racist portrayals of Africans, and in subsequent printings alterations were made to the text.
