This trilogy of Beckett plays brought together three of the foremost figures in experimental theatre of their time: Julien Beck of the Living Theatre, Frederick Neumann of Mabou Mines, and George Bartenieff, who along with co-founding the Theatre for the New City, was active among many New York avant-garde theatre groups of the 1960s to 1980s.
