A rare poster from a 1983 concert of the Talking Heads, the art-rock/ new wave band formed by David Byrne, Chris Franz, Tina Weymouth, and Jerry Harrison while students at RISD in 1975. The Talking Heads, with their pop music tinged with a sprinkle of the avant-garde, and live performances featuring men in very large business suits, became one of the most defining and popular bands of the 1980s.
