The image of a hand holding a compact transistor radio superimposed with found imagery was a common feature of Berman’s Verifax collages, his best-known body of work. Here six such images are arranged in a grid above a block of nonsense text, a graphic format used in several of his works. This work is number 87 from the edition of 100 published by John Martin. .
