Original proof sheet of album artwork for Sun Ra’s 1972 live album “Universe in Blue”. This sheet includes both front and back covers and spine text, printed in deep blues and red. Recorded live across a number of performances, most likely at the Lower East Side jazz club Slugs, where Sun Ra and his Arkestra performed regularly throughout the late-1960’s while living in New York and Philadelphia.
