Redtape was a downtown art, literary, and comics magazine. It published work by established, emerging, obscure, and soon-to-be famous Greer Lankton, David Wojnarowicz, Gregory Corso, Ed Sanders, Kathy Acker, and Barbara Ess. Evidencing the connection between the downtown arts and party scenes, the magazine also threw release parties at Danceteria.
