Malcolm Kelso Invites You To An Installation and Exhibition of Paintings

New York: Limelight, 1984. Item #6639

Flyer promoting an installation and exhibition of paintings at Limelight, hosted by Malcolm Kelso, concept by Laurel Douglas and Jimmy Harmon. Kelso was the renown artistic director of Limelight before his death from an AIDS-related illness. He often transformed the club’s layout and look to the specifications of his chosen themes, other notable parties included the Fellini night, Shirley MacLaine’s 50th birthday party, and a Monte Carlo night where the club was transformed into a Casino with a roulette table and decor to rival those of the famous Mediterranean resort.

A striking image of someone sitting on an enormous bone on recto.
