Treatment and proposal for Kenneth Anger’s short film Kustom Kar Kommandos. Includes notes on directorial style, technical specifications to achieve “hitherto inaccessible realms of investigation in low-key color location work for the independent creative film-maker,” and Anger expounding on the thematic thrust of the film. Originally planned to have a 30 minute runtime, Anger quickly burned through the film’s budget, with the end result of a 3 minute classic of American queer cinema.
