Flyer for a going-away cocktail party for Edwige Belmore and her band Jungle Geisha. Belmore moved to New York from Paris in 1981 and found work at Danceteria, the famous downtown club that also employed David Wojnarowicz, Keith Haring, and Zoe Leonard. Belmore spent the late 70s as a singer for various punk bands in Paris, and quickly rose in the scene, subsequently becoming a model and actress, working with Andy Warhol, Thierry Mugler, and Helmut Newton.
