Poem broadside titled “Arthur Rimbaud” with information about Smith’s “Rock N’ Rimbaud III” performance at the Riverside Plaza Hotel in 1974. The poem, which begins “n***** no invented for color it was MADE FOR THE PLAGUE” is an early example of Smith using the n-word, which she would later return to with her 1978 song “Rock N Roll N*****.”

Mailed to a prominent New York music journalist; addressed and postmarked to verso, October 22, 1974.
