The twelfth publication from Los Angeles-based Deadbeat Club, Surf Disturbance refers to and builds upon Nick Waplington's Surf Riot, which documented the violence following the 1986 OP Pro Surfing contest. Templeton contributes a short foreword recounting his presence at both of these predominantly white suburban uprisings, almost 30 years apart.
