Section from International Times detailing the underground publishing scene in Kathmandu, specifically focusing on Bardo Matrix as well as Starstreams and Dreamweapon, all projects of Angus MacLise and Ira Cohen, as well as their bookshop Spirit Catcher and their obsession with handmade Lokta paper. Along with the brief summary of publishing activities, this magazine story includes reprints of poems originally published in Ting Pa by Ira Cohen, Bill Barker, Petra Vogt, Hetty Maclise prose by George Andrews, alongside illustrations and calligraphy by Angus Maclise. A rare example of the ways in which the expat artist community communicated with and contributed to American and British countercultural currents.
