Broadside poem printed on handmade Lokta Nepalese paper, written by Ira Cohen and illustrated by Hetty MacLise in memory of Angus MacLise a mere six days after his death. The poem is written in direct address to the deceased, Cohen recounts his cremation and death while lovingly describing the singular personality, talents, and outlook that made MacLise remarkable. The broadside marks the end of an era for Bardo Matrix, which diminished and then closed after MacLise’s death.
