A distinctive Lawrence Weiner painting of the letter “F,” a proposed logo for the US division of the label. Factory US, through the direction of Michael Shamberg, had a fruitful tradition of working with New York artists for their graphic design, Weiner designed several posters and graphics for the label, as did John Baldessari and Barbara Kruger.
