Flyer organizing project “to bring the joys of folk music to the people in underprivileged areas throughout the city”. Their first planned event was to be held in the South Bronx.The project was based out of the Folklore Center and supporters include Israel Young, Assemblyman Mark Lane, Michael Harrington of the Village Voice, Rev. Howard Moody of the Judson Memorial Church, and Gil Turner.
