Internal memorandum sent from the NAACP Voter Registration Committee to regional
officials in the NAACP. Includes information on “the gimmicks the power structure uses to
dilute Negro and liberal white votes in many areas of our country.” A sadly still-relevant
document for a country that continues to utilize gerrymandering and voter suppression
techniques to diminish Black people’s political power.
