Flyer for the Prayer Pilgrimage for Freedom, an early demonstration in the civil rights
movement. The march was organized by the NAACP and then-nascent SCLC. The bottom of
the flyer lists the Co-Chairmen as A. Philip Randolph, Roy Wilkens, and Martin Luther King
Jr., who delivered his famous “Give Us The Ballot” speech at the demonstration, which raised
his profile in the early civil rights movement.
