The first printing of the complete Yage Letters, a collection of correspondence and writings by Burroughs and Ginsberg. City Lights was supposed to publish these writings as a novel but didn’t due to censorship, excerpts first appeared in Diane DiPrima’s Floating Bear #9. Ed Sanders’ Fuck You Press took on the task of publishing the text in this version in the Lower East Side.
