Starring Harmony Korine, Chloe Sevigny, Leo Fitzpatrick, Justin Pierce, Rosario Dawson, Jon Abrahams, and Harold Hunter, this cult classic brings light to the activities that a group of New York teenagers engage with in the 1990's such as stealing forties from the corner store, sleeping with virgins, going clubbing, and smoking pot at the skatepark. Larry Clark wanted to capture the raw essence of youth culture, as said by the artist “I always wanted to make the teenage movie that I felt America never made. I think when you see KIDS, most of us will say, ‘Yeah, that’s the way we were, that’s the way kids are”.
To this day, KIDS is still recognized as one of the most relevant and accurate depictions of teenagers in the United States.
