In 1985, American photographer Matt Weber was a taxi driver in New York City. During traffic and waiting for the green light, Weber would photograph hat he saw from the driver's seat. Weber noticed many things that most New Yorkers ignored and had forgotten. Weber captured the homeless seeking warmth from their partner on a cold winter night and a gang of prostitutes crowding a car on an empty alley way. Later in 1990, Matt Weber left the taxi business to pursue his passion for photography. His photographs range in subject and emotion, he shot anything from a robbery to a romantic kiss on the subway.
