Photographer Andreas Laszlo Konrath moved to New York City in 2004, after years of working for Dazed and Confued. In a dark room on Canal Street and working for multiple photographers, Konrath co-founded an independent zine publishing company called Pau Wau Publications (PWP) in 2008. PWP served as a platform to inspire and encourage young photographers to share and publish their work. Being an active member of the artistic youth community, he immersed himself in many music and skater subcultures, taking portraits of the modern day skaters, punks and straight edge teenagers. These photographs capture the essence of community and the force that is created when the youth get together whether this union may be to skate together or mosh at heavy metal show.
An extremely rare publication with B&W and color photographs of teenagers in Asbury Park, NJ and Long Island, NY. Includes a 32 page newsprint mini booklet as well.
Edition 61 out of 250.
