The Fuck You Quote of the Week was a weekly mimeographed publication. The first, written on Sept. 5, 1964, was by Harry Fainlight (1935-1982), a frequent contributor to Fuck You publications and friend to many beat generation poets: As with many of the ephemera of Fuck You Press, it is adorned by one of their tag-lines: "total assault on the culture."
