PTA was a Pittsburgh based underground punk zine. #10 promotes several bands from the Pittsburgh and Cleveland area, most notably Human Switchboard. Page six features a story on underground reggae, based on records imported from Jamaica. This issue also features an extensive review on Public Image Ltd.’s second album, Metal Box, as well as reviews on Throbbing Gristle’s “20 Jazz Funk Greats,” the Ramones’ “End of the Century,” and Iggy Pop’s “Soldier.”.
