Named after the Barry Mann doo-wop hit, Who Put the Bomp! Magazine is an early rock n’roll fanzine started by Gregory Shaw in 1970. Shaw eventually expanded the fanzine to Bomp! Records, releasing records for bands like The Modern Lovers, Iggy and the Stooges, and Stiv Bators and the Dead Boys. This issue of Bomp! features an interview with Brian Wilson and articles on the Mexico and Boston punk scenes, the Monkee’s, Abba and more.
