Killer was Thurston Moore’s self-published fanzine covering the New York hardcore scene, from show photos to record reviews and interviews. Moore started the zine to become more immersed in the scene and have a way to plug his friend’s bands and introduce himself to some of his favorite bands. This issue promotes Sonic Youth’s Confusion is Sex album with Kim Gordon on the cover. It also contains album and show reviews of Black Flag, DNA, and Flipper, live photos of The Minutemen, Rudolph Grey, Virgin Prunes, and more by Catherine Bachmann. There are also fanzine listings, original art, and comics.
