Well-illustrated and innovatively designed student art magazine from the Royal College of Art in London. A range of art disciplines from poetry to essays and collage. This issue includes original colour lithographs by Peter Blake, Louis Le Brocquy, Roger Coleman and John Hodges. The Le Brocquy lithograph is called, Study by Louis Le Brocquy from fifteenth-century French Tapestry, and includes a contribution by the artist on the subject of tapestry. Le Brocquy was a tutor at the RCA School of Textile Design at the time of publication. Owned and signed by RCA student Robert McDonald and dated 1964. The ‘Ark’ publication ran from 1950-1978.
