While living in London during the punk explosion of the late 1970s, Juan Carlos Kreimer took an almost anthropological approach in this near-encyclopedic account of the music and culture which surrounded the genre. This book is notable for being one of the few books about Punk music and culture to be published in Spain. Kreimer was Argentinian, and his book was essential to the founding of punk culture in his home country, distributed through photocopies and pirated editions. Includes “pocket punk dictionary”—a glossary of punk terms which the author uses throughout the book. Promotional card for Panik Records laid in.
