London: Class War, ca. 1984. 11 ¾ x 16 ½ in. Offset printed folded one-sheet newspaper. Very good, creased from folding with discoloration to creases, minor edgewear. Item #5217

Class War was an anarchist newspaper and organization started by Ian Bone in 1983. It was the primary organization responsible for introducing autonomist ideas into the London anarchist community. Their political actions and agitprop garnered significant attention from the press, cops, and secret service. Class War published controversial graphics and propaganda, most famously an image of Margaret Thatcher with an ax in her head, and enthusiastically supported the workers from the key strikes of the decade: miners, dockers, and print workers.
