BACK FROM THE GRAVE 30TH ANNIVERSARY ZINE

50.00

Back From The Grave honors the 30th anniversary of the release of Back From The Grave Volume One, Tim Warren's now-classic Crypt Records series of garage-punk comps. Boo-Hooray's Back From The Grave zine contains wild interviews with Tim, reprints of original bone-crunching cover art, photos of 60s punkers, discographies, essays, and a whole bunch of other insane and unpsychedelic action. In Tim's words: "primitive rockin' 60s Punk is just the cure for this *@$%! world fulla flash-dancin', MTV-in' disco geeks."

The first edition was only 66 copies and had glow-in-the-dark painted covers. All but 10 copies disappeared in the span of one rooftop barbeque. Luckily, a second edition of 300 copies was been produced. These weren't for sale though, they were only for trade! For the first ten swappers, the last copies of the glow-in-the-dark were available.

Theoretically, we took anything in exchange for the zine: shoes, records, books, other zines, homemade sweater vests, photographs, art, cutlery, musical instruments, knick-knacks, etc. We did not accept perishable or organic goods or immaterial items like good vibes, spells or any other type of magic, black and white both.

And remember: It ain't dopey flower-power! It ain't peace and love! This stuff is ugly and wild!
