Translated from the original French by Marius D’Assigny

Printed by Thomas Kelly, No. 53, Paternoster-Row by Rider and Weed, Little Britain. Originally published in 1651.  410pp.

8vo. (8 ⅝ x 5 ½ in.) Includes frontis. Also includes a reprinting of Apparition of Mrs Veal. Wear consistent with age, some flaking of ge. on binding, some writing on first few leaves, but pages intact except for one plate between pages 136 and 137 along the edge, however the etching is unharmed. Annotated in front, “Mary Harriette, Player, Brigstocke. Octber 1856”

Reprinted numerous times, Rev. Charles Drelincourt’s works were aimed against Roman Catholicism, strengthening the Protestant Party in France. This is mostly a collection of prayers and meditations on death from a Christian perspective.
